Dr. Berst's hometown is Washington, Iowa. He studied pre-medicine at Central College in Pella, Iowa and then went on to medical school at the University of Iowa. After completing medical school, Dr. Berst started his Radiology residency at the University of Iowa. He completed his fellowship training in 2006 and joined Advanced Radiology, S.C. in July of that same year. He has been board certified in Radiology since June 2005.
